A Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. Although I trained as a carpenter for only one year I gained a large number of practical skills which I still use today. I have made a number of picture frames and cabinets in my spare time. I have interests in Photography, Astronomy, anything mechanical or electronic and have a long held interest in aviation and astronautics. My education to date has given me extensive experience of various office computer applications, internet, HTML / XHTML, CSS design programming (this site and a local school website, although I am entirely self taught in this area), LaTeX, Javascript, Flash animation & ActionScript (click here for an example), Professional video and photograph editing suites, Visual C, MATLAB programming languages, and Windows and Unix operating systems. |
